OK, in honour of the opening of the new Sex and the City 2 movie, I am going to share with you my secret (not any more) recipe for cosmopolitans.
I have been known to make up huge quantities of this mixture for a big night of cocktails. So why not make up a shaker and sneak it into the movie theatre when you go and see Sex and the City 2 this week. Just watch that noisy ice as you go past the usher. Gosh takes me back to the days I used to sneak Chicko Rolls in my ugg boots when I was a mere teen.
Cosmo Recipe
30ml lemon vodka
15ml triple sec
45ml cranberry juice
15ml lime juice
15ml sugar syrup
- Add all ingredients and shake over ice in a cocktail shaker.
- Strain into a martini glass.
- Garnish with lemon.
To make sugar syrup boil equal parts of sugar and water over heat until clear. Cool before using.
