Do you remember Chris Klein? He’s the bloke that Katie Holmes was engaged to forever before Tom Cruise jumped on the couch and stole her from him. There is actually a scurrilous rumour floating around that Suri Cruise is actually Suri Klein, but that would be repeating malicious gossip so forget that I wrote that.
So back to Chris Klein. He was the jock come good in the American Pie movies. So he hasn’t done a whole lot of late and I’m really not sure if this audition tape for Mamma Mia is a piss take or not. I mean this man cannot sing. Really cannot sing. He sounds worse than me on Singstar.
He’s sort of losing his hair and stuff and comes across as a bit of a dickhead, so I guess it must be real as the official version was removed from the internet. I thought he was auditioning for one of the father parts in Mamma Mia, but I think he was trying for the daughter’s love interest.
He’s a game one isn’t he? So here’s the bootleg copy that’s floating around. I predict it will go viral. Persist with it, it’s worth it for the high notes.
