Here it is, better late than never, the trailer for Eat Pray Love based on Elizabeth Gilbert’s book. Looks good, love Julia Roberts. You’ll have to wait till October 14 to see it though.
I, like many other Gen Xers, will admit that the book has been my inspirational gift for several of my friends, and one I have gone back to reread several times, but you know, I’ve decided it’s a little whiny and a lot self-indulgent. It was a marriage breakdown, no one died.
But I think that’s my jealousy talking. What I wouldn’t give to have the opportunities she had in that year. But as no one is going to give me a book advance I think a month’s holiday in Italy will suffice. I’ll have to meditate in my bedroom and as I’ve already nailed the love stuff, so I’ll might substitute Bali with Stradbroke Island. My own private Eat, Pray, Love without the angst, fame and fortune. Image
